Jerry A. Naranjo, entered eternal peace on Tuesday, October 20, 2026, at the age of 66. He was born August 21, 1960, in Yorktown, Texas to the late Severo Morales Naranjo Sr. and Estella Mary Salazar Naranjo. He was a graduate of Yorktown High School and a member of the San Luis Catholic Church. Jerry worked as a driver for the DeWitt County Senior Citizens until he retired. He enjoyed being out in the country on his land and taking care of his cattle operation. He was known to have a beer or two every once in a while, and he enjoyed visiting with his friends. He will be missed by many that knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Severo Morales Naranjo Sr. and Estella Mary Salazar Naranjo; sisters, Olga Naranjo and Sylvia Naranjo; and nephew, Erik Taylor Naranjo.
Jerry is survived by his son, Robert “RJ” John Naranjo; brothers and sisters, Dominga Naranjo, Stella Naranjo, Severo Naranjo, Jr., Frank Naranjo, David Naranjo, and Patricia Naranjo-Martinez; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
A Rosary was held with Father Scott Hill Officiating. Jerry is buried at San Luis Catholic Cemetery.
