Patsy L. Copeland (Goad), 84 of Yorktown, TX passed away on November 3, 2026 in Coleman, TX. She was born November 26, 1941 in Cedaredge, CO to the late Lawrence and Dovey (Renshaw) Goad.
Pat is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Dwayne Goad and wife Virgie, brother Lawrence Goad and her husband of 24 years Leland Copeland.
Pat is survived by Sister-in-Law Devota Goad; Daughters Bonnie Kirk and husband Ward, Candie Gabrielse, and step daughter Linda Taft and husband Paul, sons Larry Priest, Michael Bowser and step son Ray Copeland and wife Raquel; many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Pat loved her family very much and always took care of everyone, she met the love of her life Leland Copeland late in life but for both of them it was the best part. She worked hard all her life and for the most part raised 4 children by herself and then worked side by side with Leland working cattle and baling hay. She enjoyed cooking, traveling and gardening.
Visitation will be at Finch Funeral Chapel in Yorktown, Texas on Saturday, November 14, 2025 from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM with funeral services starting at 11:00 AM. Interment immediately following at Nordheim Cemetery.
