Irineo Gonzalez Palacios, 6 years old, went to heaven into Jesus arms on Friday, April 24, 2026, at Texas Children’s Hospital. He was born October 17, 2019, in Mexico to Guadalupe Gonzalez Hernandez and Gloria Palacios Toledo.
Irineo was a kindergarten student at Yoakum Primary Annex School. He was always a loving child who shared his joy with everyone around him and touched the hearts of all who knew him.
Survivors include his parents, Guadalupe Gonzalez Hernandez and Gloria Palacios Toledo; his sister, Brenda Yumitet Gonzalez Palacios; paternal grandparents, Arnulfo Gonzalez Martinez and Juana Hernandez Arellano; maternal grandparents, Feliciano Palacios Díaz and Margarita Toledo Clemente; and his aunts and uncles, Freddy Palacios, Feliciano Palacios, Maria de la Paz Palacios, Gabriel González, Fátima Velázquez, Gerardo López, and Alex Cazares; God parents, Eulalia Palacios and Melquiadez Gonzalez.
Visitation 9 a.m., Rosary at 10 a.m. followed by Funeral Service, Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Feliciano Palacios Toledo, Gabriel Gonzales, Fred Palacios, Gerardo Lopez, Alez Adoniz Caceres and Arnulfo Gonzalez.
Memorials may be made to Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home to help defray funeral cost.
