The Cuero FFA Horse Judging Team earned an impressive 3rd place finish at the Area XI Career Development Events on Saturday, securing their spot in the upcoming State Competition. The team will travel to Texas Tech University on May 2 to represent Cuero among the top programs in Texas.
Team members Cade Kline, Paige Dromgoole, Paige Beebe, and Brynlee Lore delivered a consistent and disciplined performance across all phases of the contest, demonstrating their knowledge of equine evaluation, performance analysis, and industry standards. Their placement reflects months of preparation, early‑morning practices, and a commitment to excellence that continues to elevate Cuero FFA’s reputation across the region.
Advancing to state is a significant achievement in the highly competitive world of FFA Career Development Events, where students are judged not only on accuracy but on their ability to apply critical thinking and defend their evaluations.
The Cuero community now looks ahead with pride as the team prepares for the state stage in Lubbock.
