Yorktown FFA students traveled to College Station on Saturday to participate in the Area XI Career Development Event (CDE) Contest, representing their chapter with commitment, teamwork, and pride. The trip marked the culmination of a season filled with early mornings, long practices, and countless miles traveled — a level of dedication that reflects the strength of the program and the students who power it.
Yorktown competed in multiple events, earning solid placements among a highly competitive field:
- Livestock Judging – 7th Place
- Milk Quality – 10th Place
- Veterinary Tech – 17th Place
- Poultry – 21st Place
This season, Yorktown FFA celebrated a major achievement with two teams qualifying for state, a milestone that highlights the chapter’s continued growth and excellence.
The chapter now turns its attention to the next big moment:
⭐ The State Forage Team will compete this week in Huntsville, and the community is cheering them on as they prepare to represent Yorktown at the state level.
Yorktown FFA continues to demonstrate what hard work, leadership, and agricultural education can accomplish. The chapter’s students, advisors, and supporters have much to be proud of as the season moves forward.
