Westhoff ISD is looking ahead to the 2026–2027 school year, and preparations for the Warriors Cheer Squad are already underway. The district has announced that a mandatory parent meeting will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. at the school for all students interested in trying out for the cheer squad. Attendance by a parent or guardian is required in order for a student to be eligible for tryouts.
The cheer squad is open to all incoming sixth-grade students and above who want to represent the Warriors on the sidelines next year. During the meeting, families can expect to learn about program expectations, requirements, and key details about the tryout process. District officials emphasized that no student will be permitted to try out without a parent or guardian present at the April 28 meeting.
The district is encouraging all interested students and their families to mark their calendars and plan to attend. As the official announcement reminds future cheerleaders: “Go Big Blue! Let’s Go Warriors!”
