The City of Cuero is taking another step toward supporting local youth agriculture programs with plans for the new Friar Ag Show Barn, a project that will provide a modern facility for livestock exhibitions, agricultural activities, and community events.
According to project partners, the development will include a new show barn of more than 8,000 square feet, along with associated site improvements such as utility infrastructure, paving, foundations, and building systems. The facility is designed to enhance opportunities for students involved in agricultural education and livestock projects while providing a dedicated venue for agricultural events.
The project team expressed enthusiasm about working with TSG Architects and the City of Cuero to bring the new facility to fruition. Once completed, the show barn is expected to serve as an important resource for area youth, agricultural organizations, and the broader community.
