SHINER: Manesha Roshal Brooks, age 39, passed away Tuesday, February 18, 2025. She was born April 7, 1985 in Yoakum to Admiral Harper Sr and Evelyn Brooks.

She was the dietary supervisor at Shiner Nursing & Rehabilitation. She enjoyed spending time with her family, going to her children’s sporting events and cooking.

Survivors: mother, Evelyn Brooks; father, Admiral Harper Sr; sons, Makylin Burchell and Marquise Upshaw; sisters, Angelica Brooks and Jo Ann Harper; brothers, Jason Harper (Denise), Admiral Harper Jr (Stacy), Jimmie Harper (Jeri) and Jamie Harper (Angie).

Visitation 5-7 p.m. Friday, February 21, 2025 at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home.

Funeral service 11:00 a.m. Saturday, February 22, 2025 at Shiner Methodist Church with Pastor Sandra Brazil officiating. Burial at Bluebonnet Cemetery.

Arrangements entrusted to Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home 361-293-5656.
