Cuero, Tx -The Little Gobblers Football League (LGFL) has officially opened registration for its 2024 Summer Football program, inviting young athletes from across the community to form teams, register, and compete in a series of flag football and 7‑on‑7 matchups scheduled for July at the Cuero City Park soccer fields.
The summer program features multiple age divisions designed to give players an opportunity to develop skills, build teamwork, and enjoy competitive play in a supportive environment. Flag football divisions include 6U (ages 5–6) and 8U (ages 7–8), while the 7‑on‑7 divisions include 10U (ages 9–10) and 12U (ages 11–12).
Flag division games are set for July 11 and July 25, and 7‑on‑7 divisions will compete on July 12 and July 26. Each team is guaranteed four games throughout the program.
Registration is open May 4 through June 12, with a $100 team entry fee. Each team may roster up to ten players, and jerseys will be provided. All games will be played locally, and the league emphasizes accessibility with free gate entry, concessions available, and no travel teams permitted. Certified referees will be on-site for all games.
The LGFL encourages families, coaches, and community members to help young athletes participate in a fun and structured summer sports experience.
