YOAKUM: Edena Henry, age 66, entered her sunset on Saturday, September 19, 2026. She was born on May 17, 1960, in Los Angeles, CA, to the late Robert and Rose (Harper) Stokes. Edena was a caregiver and worked in home health.
Survived by sister, Pamela Stokes; brother, Thomas Hilliard; and her sons, Marvin Davis, Sr. (Amanda), and Sidney Henry II of Yoakum, TX; daughters, Candace Henry and A’Karia Ford; grandchildren, Marvin Davis Jr., Kendrick Davis, Amariah Davis, Makenze Davis, Amariah Lewis, SL Lewis IV, De’Von Grant and Amelia Henry; great-grandchildren, Naomi Williams and Tyce Grant.
Preceded in death by her parents; siblings, Horace Hilliard, Calvin Hilliard, Keith Roberts, Robert Stokes Jr. and Rose Marie Stokes.
Funeral Service 11:00 a.m., Saturday, October 17, 2026, at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home, with Dewayne Arkadie officiating. Burial to follow at Bluebonnet Cemetery in Shiner, TX.
