Debra Sue Yount, 71, of Yorktown passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2026. She was born November 3, 1954 in Yorktown to LeRoy and Bobbe Raley Sthele. She married the love of her life Jerry Yount on August 17, 1985 in Yorktown. She was a member of the Yorktown Western Days board who took pride and dedicated countless hours in running the beer token booth for over 10 years, worked for Yorktown ISD as a bus driver, and aide for over 30 years. Debbie was a lifelong member of St. Paul Lutheran Church.
Debra is survived by her husband Jerry Yount, children April (Derrick) Preston, Crystal (Travis Georg) Yount, and Shane Yount. She is also survived by her grandson Kj Ballard and brother LeRoy Sthele Jr.
She is preceded in death by her parents and sister Sandra Williams.
Memorial service were held October 26, 2026 at St. Paul Lutheran Church.
