Barrow has served the Cuero community for the past year and a half, bringing strong dedication and a steady presence to the department’s emergency response team. Before joining Cuero Fire, he spent three years with the Portland Fire Department, where he gained valuable frontline experience that continues to strengthen Cuero’s capabilities.
The promotion ceremony was made even more meaningful by the presence of Barrow’s fiancée and three children, who participated in the traditional pinning of his new badge. Their involvement added a heartfelt touch to an already proud moment for both the department and the Barrow family.
Cuero Fire Department leadership expressed appreciation for Barrow’s commitment, professionalism, and readiness to serve, noting that his promotion reflects both his skill and his dedication to the safety of the Cuero community.
Congratulations to Fire Lieutenant Dillon Barrow on this well‑earned achievement.
