ESMERALDA YRUEGAS PARGMANN – MAY 7, 1952 TO JULY 8, 1972 (74)

Esmeralda Yruegas Pargmann, 74, of Nordheim, Texas, passed away on July 8, 2026, in San Antonio, Texas.

Born on May 7, 1952, in Eagle Pass, Texas, Esmeralda was the beloved daughter of the late Jesus Yruegas and Victoria Ramos Yruegas. On February 4, 1972, she married the love of her life, Dennis Wayne Pargmann, in Eagle Pass, Texas. Together they shared 44 wonderful years of marriage before Dennis’s passing in 2016. Their greatest joy was raising their four beautiful daughters: Tammy, Kathy, Pam, and Tracy.

Esmeralda’s greatest love was her family. She cherished every opportunity to bring everyone together, especially during holidays, birthdays, and any occasion that called for making memories. Her home was always filled with love, laughter, and the warmth of family. She found immense happiness in watching her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren grow, and she treasured every moment spent with them.

She is survived by her loving daughters, Tammy Ledwik and husband David, Kathy Pargmann and Cory, Pam Pargmann, and Tracy Pargmann; her cherished grandchildren, Sheldon Lassmann and wife Casey, Shelby Pargmann, Kaitlyn Watson, Kaleigh Fischer and husband Wryston, Corey Pargmann and Aimsley, Bryleigh Flores, Korbyn Molina, and Kaisley Kulik; her beloved great-grandchildren, Bowen Hill, Noah Lassmann, and Miles Lassmann; two great-grandchildren expected to arrive soon, Wytana Fischer and Nathan Pargmann; and her brother, Rolando Yruegas.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesus and Victoria Yruegas; her beloved husband, Dennis Wayne Pargmann; and her brother, Jesus Yruegas.

A private family service was held on Monday, July 13, 2026, with Father Scott Hill officiating. Interment followed at Nordheim Cemetery in Nordheim, Texas.

Serving as pallbearers were Corey Pargmann, Sheldon Lassmann, Wryston Fischer, Cameron Kulik, Brian Kulik, and David Ledwik.

Esmeralda will be remembered for her unwavering love and devotion to her family, her generous heart, and the countless memories she created around her table. Her legacy lives on through the family she loved so deeply, and she will be forever missed and lovingly remembered by all who knew her.
