CUERO, TX – Families across DeWitt County are invited to a hands‑on morning of fun as the Friends of DeWitt County Children present their 4th Annual “Touch A Truck” event on Saturday, April 25, 2026. The event will take place from 9:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Cuero VFW, located at 934 US Highway 183 North.
Designed especially for children, “Touch A Truck” gives young attendees the chance to explore, touch, and climb on a variety of trucks, tractors, and equipment. From fire trucks to construction vehicles, the event offers an up‑close look at the machines kids often see only from a distance.
The morning will begin with a horn‑free period from 9:30 to 10:00 a.m., providing a quieter environment for children who may be sensitive to loud sounds.
The event is free to the public, and families are encouraged to stop by, meet local vehicle operators, and enjoy a safe, interactive experience that highlights the people and equipment that help keep the community running.

Friends of DeWitt County Children continue to host events that support, uplift, and engage young people throughout the county, and this year’s “Touch A Truck” promises to be one of their most popular gatherings yet.
