CUERO, Texas — In October, 2026, Cuero Intermediate School will transform into a fright‑filled destination this Halloween season as STUCO, NHS, and the Theatre Department join forces to host a multi‑night Haunted House for the community. Students have spent weeks preparing eerie scenes, dramatic lighting, and interactive characters to deliver a fun, family‑friendly scare for visitors of all ages.

The Haunted House will be open October 24 and October 29 from 7 to 9 p.m., offering two evenings of spooky thrills for teens and adults seeking a seasonal adventure. Volunteers from all three student organizations will guide guests through themed rooms, jump‑scare corners, and creative sets designed to showcase both student talent and teamwork.
A special Children’s Night will be held on October 31 from 4 to 6 p.m., featuring a gentler, kid‑friendly version of the Haunted House. Younger visitors can enjoy festive decorations, costumed characters, and a safe Halloween experience tailored just for them.
The event will take place at Cuero Intermediate School, where students and advisors say they are excited to welcome families, friends, and community members.
Organizers encourage everyone to come out, support student leadership and creativity, and enjoy a frightfully fun time. With three opportunities to attend, Cuero’s Haunted House promises to be one of the season’s most anticipated events.
