Lorraine Lily Migl Zinke, age 94, of Yoakum, Texas, died peacefully surrounded by loved ones in Everett Washington, on September 23, 2026.
Lorraine was the matriarch of her extensive family and enjoyed most going on jaunts with her children and grandchildren. She loved a good ball game and going to concerts, especially if Dwight Yoakam or Willie Nelson were playing. She chased the eclipse in Austin in 2024 and never missed a Gaslight Theatre play in Shiner. We are comforted in our knowing she lived a full and adventurous life and that she loved us all.
Lorraine is survived by her daughters, Diana Chamrad (Larry) Tammy Williams, Darlyn Williams, Terry Hermes (Robert), and Christine Cunningham (Alex), sons, Billy Zinke and Allen Zinke (Donna), 16 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, 6 great-great grandchildren, and two sisters, Grace Smith and Dorothy Locke.
She is preceded in death by her parents Willie and Lily Chudej Migl, brothers Willie Joe Migl and Leroy Migl, sister Jeannette Blazek, husband, Freddie Zinke, son, Berry Walston, and grandson, Jordan Arriaga.
A rosary will be held at 10 AM Friday, October 16, 2026, at St. Ann Catholic Church in Yoakum Texas, followed by a funeral mass at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held immediately after at St. Ann Cemetery.
