Daryl Wayne Ohnheiser, age 59 of Converse, Texas, passed away on September 22, 2026. Daryl was born November 17, 1966 in Yoakum to Fred E. and Bernice M. Gallia Ohnheiser.
He was a 1985 graduate of Yoakum High School and a graduate of T.S.T.C. specializing in auto body and mechanics. Through out his career; he specialized as an auto body mechanic. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and working on old cars, welding, and sporting events. He had a passion for Barbecuing, driving fast cars and going to car shows. He was a member of St. Monica’s Catholic Church in Converse.
Survivors: parents: Fred and Bernice Ohnheiser; sons, Colbe Ohnheiser and Hunter Ohnheiser (Reina); sister, Kari Reischling (Kendall Reischling); nieces, Kiley Reischling, Keira Reischling and Mackenzie Freeman, nephew, Kory Reischling; special friend, Laura Hoffman; brother-in-law, Victor Freeman; mother of his sons, Joan Petru. His Godmother aunt Mildred Thiele.
Preceded in death by: sister, Wanda Freeman, Godfather uncle Kermit Thiele and aunt Gladys Castleberry.
A Funeral Mass was held at St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Matthew Huehlefeld officiating.
