The DeWitt/Lavaca Democratic Women are extending an open invitation to the community for an upcoming Ice Cream Social designed to bring voters and candidates together in a relaxed, family‑friendly setting. The event will take place on Friday, October 2, from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Cuero Park Clubhouse, located at 1200 E. Main Street (210 Leonard Roy Harmon Drive).
Attendees will have the opportunity to meet and visit with several candidates, including Bobby Pulido, Erica Gillium, Crystal Sedillo, Clayton Tucker, and Pat Trevino. Rather than a formal program, the gathering is intended as an informal come‑and‑go social where residents can enjoy free ice cream while discussing issues, asking questions, and getting to know the individuals seeking public office.
The event is open to everyone, and organizers emphasize that all community members—regardless of political affiliation—are welcome to attend. The goal is to encourage civic engagement in a comfortable environment where conversations can happen naturally.
