The DeWitt County Livestock Judging Team is gearing up for its annual fundraiser, offering a Chicken Fried Steak plate catered by Werner’s of Shiner. The event will take place on Sunday, November 8, with pickup from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. at four convenient locations across the county.

Plates are $15 each, and prepayment is required. Supporters may pay by cash, check, or Venmo. Those choosing Venmo are asked to include their first initial and last name, along with the number of plates ordered. All funds go directly to the team’s official account.
This year’s fundraiser includes four pickup sites to make participation easy for families throughout the area:
- Cuero – Friar Ag Center
- Meyersville – Meyersville Store
- Nursery – Nursery Trading Post
- Yorktown – Trust Texas Bank parking lot
Each plate includes chicken fried steak, mashed potatoes with gravy, green beans, corn, and a roll — a full meal prepared by Werner’s Catering, a longtime regional favorite.
Orders may be submitted through the team’s online form, and payment can be completed through Venmo for quick processing.
All proceeds benefit the DeWitt County Livestock Judging Project and help local youth continue their training, travel, and competition opportunities.
