CUERO: Christopher Ray Noyce, 38, passed away Tuesday, August 18, 2026. He was born September 25, 1987, in Houston, TX, to Gayle Ann Dvorak. After moving around in his younger years, he settled in Yoakum, TX, until he graduated from Yoakum High School in 2006. Shortly afterwards, he started working in the oilfield, which he enjoyed doing and took great pride in his job. He was able to build a life for himself in Cuero, TX. During his time off from work, he enjoyed spending time with family and friends. Christopher had a heart of gold and is loved by so many. He will truly be missed.
Survived by: mother, Gayle Ann Dvorak; father, John Cowan; sister, Victoria Cuellar (Reuben) of Yoakum; brothers, Cole Cowan (Katarina) of Shiner and Jacob Cowan of Yoakum; niece and nephews: Raelynn, Jameson, Caleb, Sebastian, Isaiah, Kai, Zayden, and Masen.
Preceded in death by: grandfather Raymond Dvorak, grandmother, Luella Dvorak, grandmother, Loretta Wimp, grandfather, Gustav Wimp, grandmother, Juanita Cowan; aunts, Shirley Kent (Simecek) and Patsy Lauer (Cowan); uncles, Billy Cowan, Richard Cowan, Donald Cowan and Robert Cowan.
Visitation 9:00 a.m., with Funeral Service at 11 a.m., Saturday, August 29, 2026, at Thiele-Cooper Funeral Home, with Pastor Elvis Whaley officiating. Burial to follow at Hebron Cemetery.
Pallbearers are Mike Cowan, Justin Cowan, Cullan Cowan, Nathanial Cowan, Jason Cowan, Russell Cowan, Bobby Cowan, Joshua Simecek.
