Cuero has a new state qualifier. Jossiah Taylor earned an impressive second‑place finish in the triple jump at the Regional Meet, securing his spot in the State Track & Field Championships in Austin.
Taylor’s performance stood out among a highly competitive field, marking a major milestone in his athletic career and adding another proud moment for Cuero athletics. Coaches and supporters praised his consistency, focus, and determination throughout the season — qualities that were on full display during his state‑qualifying jump.
With the regional podium finish now behind him, Taylor turns his attention to Austin, where he will represent Cuero on the biggest stage in Texas high school track and field.
