CUERO, TX — St. Michael’s Catholic Church is gearing up for one of its most beloved annual traditions as the St. Michael’s Spring Festival returns on Saturday, May 17, bringing a full day of food, music, games, and family‑friendly entertainment to 309 E. Church Street.
The festival has long served as both a fundraiser and a community homecoming, drawing parishioners, neighbors, and visitors from across DeWitt County. This year’s event promises the same welcoming spirit with a lineup of activities designed for all ages.
At the heart of the festival is the roast beef dinner, served dine‑in or to‑go for $15 per plate. The meal includes all the traditional trimmings and is expected to be one of the day’s biggest draws, as it has been for decades.
Beyond the food, guests can enjoy live music, a lively auction, and a variety of classic festival attractions. A silent auction, bingo, cake walk, country store, and raffle will run throughout the day, offering plenty of chances to win prizes or pick up homemade goods. Children and families can look forward to the carnival, which adds an extra layer of excitement to the event.
Organizers say the festival is more than a fundraiser — it’s a celebration of community, faith, and the shared traditions that continue to bring Cuero families together year after year.
The public is invited to mark their calendars, gather friends and family, and enjoy a day of fellowship at St. Michael’s Spring Festival.
