Breanne Medina An Advocate for DeWitt County’s Children

Breanne Medina, the Vice President of Friends of DeWitt County Children (FDCC), has been an integral part of the organization for 2.5 years. With a background as a former teacher, Breanne saw firsthand how some kids in our community were falling through the cracks, and she joined the board to make a bigger impact.

One of her standout moments with FDCC was at the Touch A Truck 2024 event. Over 500 kids and families attended, thanks to the incredible support from local businesses and volunteers who made it all possible. Breanne fondly recalls this event as a highlight of her time with the organization, showcasing the community’s solidarity and generosity.

Outside of her commitment to FDCC, Breanne enjoys gardening, cooking, and playing the piano. She’s even teaching herself to quilt! Her diverse interests and dedication enrich her contributions to the organization, making her a valued team member.

We’re incredibly grateful for Breanne’s passion and commitment to making a real difference for kids and families in need. If you have a heart ready to serve children in DeWitt County, message Friends of DeWitt County Children. dccwb.fdcc@gmail.com Volunteer and board opportunities await.

Join us in making a positive impact together, we can achieve great things for our community.
