Yoakum Bulldog Band to hold Summer Band Session #2 August 4 – August 7, 2025

August 4–7, 2025 | Yoakum, TX

The Yoakum band program is turning up the volume as excitement builds for Summer Band Session #2, set to take place from Monday, August 4 through Thursday, August 7, 2025. This session marks a critical phase in the preparation for the upcoming season and is a required event for all students in grades 9–12 as well as members of the YHS Leadership Team.

Students will spend the week immersed in music, marching, and momentum-building activities that set the tone for the months ahead.

UPDATE: 8th grade students interested in joining the marching band are now enthusiastically invited to attend! Participation is highly encouraged for those looking to get a head start on their marching band journey, connect with current members, and experience firsthand the spirit, fun, and discipline that define the Yoakum band family.

With drills on deck, instruments in tune, and enthusiasm at a high, this session promises to be a launching pad for a successful and spirited season.
