CUERO, Texas — The Cuero Rotary Club hosted another informative and uplifting presentation this week as Anthony Netardus, Cuero Livestock Show Secretary, and Greg Gossett, Cuero Livestock Show President, delivered a comprehensive recap of the 2026 Cuero Livestock Show.
Their presentation highlighted the extraordinary generosity of buyers, sponsors, families, and community partners who came together to support DeWitt County youth in one of the most successful shows to date.
More than $1.6 million was raised through livestock purchases — funds that directly support student scholarships, project investments, and future agricultural opportunities for local youth.

Adding to that effort, the Cuero Rotary Club proudly contributed an additional $1,500, reinforcing its long-standing commitment to education, leadership, and youth development in DeWitt County.
Netardus and Gossett expressed deep appreciation for the volunteers, donors, and families who make the show possible each year, emphasizing that the event’s success reflects the strength and unity of the community.
“This is what DeWitt County does best — we show up for our kids,” they shared during the presentation.
The Cuero Livestock Show continues to be a cornerstone of youth agricultural education, offering students hands-on experience, scholarship opportunities, and a platform to showcase their hard work.
