March 14, 2025 -Hunt Elementary School in Cuero ISD recently hosted an exciting Career Day, providing students with an opportunity to explore a variety of career paths and engage with local professionals. The event was a highlight for the young Gobblers, who enjoyed learning about different professions and gaining inspiration for their future.
Among the presenters were representatives from the Cuero Police Department, Cuero Fire Department, and GVEC (Guadalupe Valley Electric Cooperative), whose linemen showcased their expertise. Special thanks go to Taylor and the two high school seniors who volunteered their time to participate in this meaningful event, making it all the more memorable for the students.
The engaging presentations captivated the students, who were eager to ask questions and interact with the speakers. Events like these play a vital role in broadening students’ horizons and encouraging them to dream big about the possibilities that lie ahead.
