Cuero, TX – The Cuero Housing Authority (CHA) convened on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, to address significant appointments for its Board of Directors. On the agenda were recommendations for the remainder of the 2024-2026 term, previously held by Eula Mathis, as well as the expiring 2023-2025 terms of board members Terry Stock, Almarette Echavarria, and Debbie Riojas.
Vice Chairman Chris Jasso proposed the nomination of Paul Harper to fill the remainder of the vacant 2024-2026 term. Additionally, he recommended the reappointment of Terry Stock, Almarette Echavarria, and Debbie Riojas to serve another term on the CHA Board.
Commissioner Echavarria seconded the motion, and the following vote was recorded: Ayes: All, Nays: None.
As a result of the unanimous vote, the Cuero Housing Authority recommends the appointment of Paul Harper for the 2024-2026 term position and the reappointment of Terry Stock, Almarette Echavarria, and Debbie Riojas for the upcoming 2025-2027 term.
