πŸŽ„ Cuero Gears Up for a Magical Weekend: Christmas in Downtown Returns Dec. 12–13

CUERO, TX β€” The heart of DeWitt County is about to sparkle with holiday cheer as β€œChristmas in Downtown Cuero” returns for a two-day celebration packed with festive fun, family-friendly attractions, and hometown spirit. Hosted by Cuero Main Street, the event will run Friday, December 12 from 6–10 PM and Saturday, December 13 from 12–10 PM.

Downtown Cuero will transform into a winter wonderland, offering everything from ice skating and horse-drawn carriage rides to live entertainment and free photos with Santa. Organizers encourage families to arrive early and plan ahead, as ticket sales and ride lines will close before the event ends.

🎟️ Ticketed Attractions

  • Ice Skating on Main – $10 wristband or ticket sheet
  • Horse & Carriage Rides – $5 (S. Gonzales Street, line closes at 9:15 PM)
  • Traditional Carousel, Petting Zoo, Interactive Games – $3 each (petting zoo feed $1)
  • Ornament Making at Cuero Public Library – $5 (Saturday 12–2 PM, ages 5–12)

πŸŽ… Free Family Fun

  • Photos with Santa – Friday 6–9 PM, Saturday 4–7 PM at Santa’s Workshop (E. Main by the Christmas Tree)
  • Letters to Santa & Jingle Jibbitz Trail – Saturday 1–5 PM at Cuero Chamber (104 E. Main)

🎀 Live Entertainment

Local performers will take the stage throughout the weekend. Visitors are encouraged to check the entertainment schedule for showtimes and featured acts.

  • Ticket sheets and wristbands will be sold until 9:00 PM
  • Horse & Carriage ticket sales end at 8:45 PM
  • No refunds will be issued, so guests should plan their time accordingly
