YORKTOWN, TX—In a landmark achievement, Yorktown Independent School District (ISD) has announced the approval of its Teacher Incentive Allotment (TIA) designations for this year. This initiative has resulted in an impressive combined total of approximately $270,000 in additional compensation for the district’s outstanding educators.
The Teacher Incentive Allotment is a state program that rewards high-performing teachers with additional financial recognition based on their effectiveness and impact on student growth. Yorktown ISD is proud to celebrate its exceptional educators who have demonstrated excellence in the classroom.
First-Time Designations
Seven teachers have earned their first TIA designation:
– Ms. Chavez
– Ms. Peyton
– Ms. Sanders
– Ms. Preslar
– Coach Acree
– Ms. Lassmann
– Ms. L. Meyer
Higher Designations
Five teachers have received a higher TIA designation:
– Ms. Holland
– Ms. Hurta
– Ms. Stehling
– Ms. Styra
– Ms. Wehmeyer
Maintained Designations
Eight teachers have maintained their TIA designation:
– Ms. Bruns
– Ms. Kiser
– Ms. Pena
– Ms. Robertson
– Ms. Sullivan
– Ms. Rogers
– Ms. Meyer
– Ms. Ybarra
The district’s administrative leadership team—Mr. Nixon, Dr. Chandler, and Mrs. Patek—played a crucial role in expanding the TIA program and ensuring that these designations were made possible.
