This policy is in direct response to Senate Bill 1893 passed by the 88th Texas Legislature, which mandates compliance with Chapter 620 of the Texas Government Code.

Policy Implementation: The City of Cuero will implement the policy as detailed in Exhibit “A” of the resolution. The City Manager has the authority to update the policy as required by changes in state law or city circumstances.
Employee Distribution: All city employees will receive a copy of the new policy and must sign an acknowledgment of receipt. These signed acknowledgments will be kept in each employee’s personnel file by the City Secretary.

Incorporation of Recitals: The resolution incorporates the recitals as findings of fact, affirming their accuracy and relevance to the policy.
