July 25, 2024, Cuero, TX – The Cuero Select Track Club, a group of dedicated and talented athletes, traveled to Brownsville, Texas, to compete in the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation (TAAF) 2024 Summer Games of Texas. This prestigious event, held from July 25-28, 2024, is a multi-sport arena event featuring 16 sports at various venues throughout the city.
The Summer Games of Texas are estimated to attract over 8,000 amateur and recreational athletes, all competing for the top spot in their respective sports. The Cuero Select Track Club is proud to represent DeWitt County in the Track & Field category, showcasing their athletic prowess and dedication to the sport.
The TAAF, which has 17 regions split up across the state, invites athletes to “Light the Fuse and Go Beyond,” encouraging competitors to push their limits and strive for personal bests. The Cuero Select Track Club has embraced this call to action, demonstrating their commitment to excellence both on and off the track.
Cuero takes immense pride in the Cuero Select Track Club for their dedication, perseverance, and sportsmanship.
